These SMS Terms and Conditions govern text message communications between you and Donahue Law Firm, PLLC (Donahue Defense).

Phone numbers and SMS consent collected by Donahue Law Firm, PLLC for text messaging purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes. We share your mobile number only with the messaging service providers necessary to deliver the messages you have asked to receive.

TYPES OF MESSAGES YOU MAY RECEIVE

If you consent to receive text messages from us, you may receive messages related to legal services, including:

Responses to questions you send us
Appointment and consultation scheduling and reminders
Court date reminders
Case status updates and requests for documents or information
Confirmations and general customer support
Billing and payment notifications

We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

MESSAGE FREQUENCY

Message frequency may vary and depends on your case activity and your communications with our office.

MESSAGE AND DATA RATES

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard rates for messages sent and received will apply. We are not responsible for charges assessed by your wireless carrier.

HOW TO OPT IN

You provide consent to receive text messages from Donahue Law Firm, PLLC by checking the optional SMS consent box on our website contact form, by providing your mobile number and written consent in person or in an engagement agreement, or by sending a text message to our office line at 252-715-5785. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, consultation, or legal representation.

HOW TO OPT OUT

You may cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. We will send one confirmation message and will not send you further text messages unless you opt back in. Opting out of text messages does not end your legal representation or affect your case. We will continue to reach you by phone, email, or mail.

HOW TO OPT BACK IN

If you have opted out and later want to resume text messages, reply START to our number or contact our office at 252-715-5785 and we will re-enroll you with your consent.

DELIVERY AND CARRIER LIABILITY
